Emerald Eco Homes was established by Adrian Lennon BEng MIAI, an Engineer with over 20 years experience in the building industry, having worked in various Architectural and Engineering practices in Ireland and abroad. Most notably over 7 years with "Griffner Haus", an Austrian market leader in Low Energy & Passive timber frame homes, where Adrian worked in many rolls from developing wall details to Project Manager. He is a certified "Passive House Designer" with the Passive House Institute in Germany, a member of the Institute of Project Management IPMA and a member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland MIEI.
Combining the quality and standards of our European counterparts in the building of low-energy homes, Emerald Eco Homes was formed following market demands for a construction company with professional experience in low energy buildings from design stage to project completion. With the recent new Building Control Regulations the need to have a professionally qualified Building Contractor on site is increasingly important and in fact, becoming a requirement by many established Assigned Certifiers (the Architect / Engineer who will sign off your new home)
The optional timber frame system gives a wall technology providing you and your family with a comfortable, healthy living environment. Heat loss in the home is considerably reduced through intelligent construction and strict quality control.
