Adrian Lennon of Emerald Eco Homes carried out works on our Public House, Hennessys of Ferbane. This comprised of building of Kitchen, Stores, toilets and refurbishment of original building. The works was carried out on time and within budget and the quality of work was top class.

Our home was built by Emerald Eco Homes in 2011, we were daunted by the task of managing the build of our new home so we decided to hand the task over to Emerald Eco Homes. This was one of the best decisions we’ve made. From start to finish we found Emerald Eco Homes to be professional, diligent, enthusiastic, honest and thorough. The service we received was perfect for us, we felt that the build was in safe hands from the start, no decisions were taken without us and the build was complete quicker than we had forecast. The depth of Eco friendly building knowledge displayed and shared with us was very impressive and helped us to make informed decisions throughout the build, which are standing to us now. We were most impressed by the attention to detail when it came to insulation and air tightness. Every part of every room in the house was checked and double checked to ensure the insulation and air tightness was completed to the highest standard. The diligence displayed throughout the build has certainly resulted in the rewards we are reaping from out home. Our home is easily heated and cosy and warm throughout the year. My wife and I along with our young baby were delighted to move into our new build eco-house in 2009 but had the misfortune of a large fire in the house in 2012 resulting in major damage to the roof of our house and consequential smoke and water damage throughout. It was a mess and in a sorry state when we asked Adrian Lennon (/Emerald Eco Homes) to carry out the rebuild. Initial assessments showed extensive damage which would be tricky to repair as our house which was factory-fabricated now needed to be repaired in situ. In addition the fault in the installation of our stove which had caused the fire had to be identified, and the interface of the flue-chimney with the roof need to be redesigned to allow our stove to be reinstalled, and the house to be re-built around a re-engineered stove and flue. Despite the difficulty, Adrian (/Emerald Eco Homes) was undeterred by the laborious and technical challenges in our rebuild. With excellent attention to detail our house was fully restored back to its original pristine state on time and on budget. We will always be grateful to Emerald EcoHomes for restoring our house and giving us back our home.

Emerald Eco Homes did the design and planning application for my house. The design process was extremely professional and despite some planning difficulties we got permission for the house after liaising with the planners. I found Adrian extremely thorough especially in detailing and specifying with regards to heat loss. I would highly recommend.
